The Tenda A23 is compatible with 99% wifi routers in the market. However, if you want to extend a mesh network, adding a mesh node would be recommended as most mesh systems remove the “AP Client” feature that is necessary for a wifi extender to work.WiFi Extender is designed to extend the coverage of your existing Wi-Fi network. It receive the Wi-Fi signal from your router and then rebroadcast it to reach areas that may have weak or no signal. It cannot increase the speed beyond what your router provides. If your internet service plan has a certain maximum speed, the extender cannot surpass that limit.
