The Plugable USB-C laptop docking station dual monitor with 65W Power Delivery (UD-MSTH2) was built around an MST (Multi-Stream Transport) chipset to ensure peak performance under any workload. Starting with 2x HDMI ports, each ready for a 4K 60hz monitor so you can give a screen to your email and still dedicate a screen to your spreadsheets (or scrolling). You can even connect your iPhone 15, of course, it’ll only extend to one display.

Screens aren’t the only thing you’ll be connecting to this Plugable docking station. A USB-C port (5 Gbps) for your modern devices, 2x USB (5 Gbps), and a USB 2.0 (480Mbps) for your legacy devices. And of course, Gigabit ethernet and an audio jack – between flaky Wi-Fi and wireless headphones that never seem to be charged, sometimes it’s best to have a backup.

Will this dock work with any laptop?

A computer that has a full featured USB-C / USB4 / Thunderbolt 4 or 3 port that is running Windows 10 or 11, ChromeOS version 100+ should be compatible with the Plugable UD-MSTH2. Computers that do not meet these requirements are not supported

Is my Apple Mac computer compatible with the Plugable UD-MSTH2 docking station?

Unfortunately, Mac systems do not support MST and are not recommended with the UD-MSTH2

Do I need to install software or drivers in order to use the UD-MSTH2?

No software or driver installation is necessary in order to use the UD-MSTH2, but for best performance up to date graphics drivers from the system manufacturer are recommended

Are my monitors compatible with the UD-MSTH2 docking station?

Monitors that include an HDMI input port are compatible with the UD-MSTH2. To achieve 4K@60Hz resolutions monitors with HDMI 2.0 ports and certified HDMI 2.0 cables must be used

What type of work or applications is the UD-MSTH2 suitable for?

The UD-MSTH2 provides a direct connection to your system’s GPU, so it can use the native performance without being slowed by software. Including HDCP support so steaming from your favorite service like Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime is no problem
