Multiple Functions Learn the basic way of RGB
The RGB ambient light on the head of the microbit robot shows a variety of colors and a gradient effect.
Avoid obstacles
Based on the distance measurement, the robot can then make a decision on how to avoid the obstacle.
Line following robot
The basic working principle of a line follower robot is that it follows a black line on a white surface or a white line on a black surface.
Play music
The robot is equipped with a passive buzzer, and you can play different music by uploading code or controlling our APP.
IR Remote control
Use the remote control to control the robot to avoid obstacles, follow line, control its movement and the switch of RBG environmental lights, etc.
BT APP control
On the smartphone, you can use an app to control the car, such as sending command to move forward, backward, left or right, avoid obstacles, etc.
Follow the light source
The robot is equipped with a light-sensitive sensor that allows it to follow the light source.
Build with building blocks
Electronic interfaces and building block holes are reserved on the car body, and you can expand its functions by adding sensors or actuators.
Micro:bit is the perfect controller for learning how to build and program a robot car! Develop your coding skills with our building kit for micro:bit. Note this car is only compatible with microbit v2.
Learn about movement, how to utilize light and sound, obstacle detection and avoidance, follow a line, and control it by IR remote and app.
The microbit kit is accompanied by a detailed set of instructions that will not only walk you through the assembly, but it also covers the coding in detail.
Nearly everything you will need is supplied with the kit. But this mini smart kit does not include a micro:bit v2 board or batteries. You will need to prepare them by yourself.
